I'm hoping to come up with easily removable interior furniture and was thinking about a Beg Rug to cover the bed. Part of me loves the padded interior and clean look of the Beg Rug. The other part of me wants to wash out the bed, after camping/mountain biking/hunting trips. It sure looks nice. What do you think?

I have toyed with this idea as well and have the same concerns. I had a thick wool blanket in the bed for a while to “feel” it out and with the amount of in and out traffic from camping and accessing gear I don’t think I could keep the carpet nice enough for my liking long term. Yours being a pop up camper configuration I would strongly consider it though but be sure to seal the bed with additional weather stripping. A lot of dust and debris seems to seep in especially if you plan on off-roading in the desert.

I have friends with bud rugs. They wash them out with a hose. Probably takes longer to dry. I say go for it.

Looks like the hatch back might just work. Still not finished though.

Will you be doing the paint work as well? Curious about the route you take for final finish ?

I hope to have a pro color match my Crystal Granite Gladiator. We'll see when I get a quote for the paint job. I could probably paint it myself in a rough black, but I prefer the color match. I don't trust myself doing a high gloss, metallic paint job, and it still needs a little body work for a gloss finish.
