You're alot braver more foolish than I am. :p
Overlands are the high-speed racing versions of any Gladiator.

Not for the weak of heart.

That's why they made Rubicons and Mojaves.

They are the geriatric versions of Gladiators.

Search for my posts about racing home to beat that record derecho we had.
I was shocked as @#$% as my wife kept saying "faster, faster, get around that guy" and I watched the speedometer climb into a territory where I'd have been slugged really hard any other day.
Handled like a champ. (and that was with the cross-winds knocking down highway signs and so on)

I’m not sure if I’m the only seeing through this story (post) but if I’m driving a distance to pick up something I just bought but having to keep it a friends house and then race home at 100mph sounds like I was somewhere I shouldn’t have been spending money on something I shouldn’t have been buying….. 😂…..lol …… seriously just kidding (completely)!!!! The story just brings back memories of the days of youth when that’s a situation I would have found myself caught up in. Buying upgraded auto parts (with literally 2 cents more in my pocket) for a car and hiding them(somewhere but my house) and having some commitment at home I had to get back to….oh those were the days!

These Gladiator rims and tires are just taking so much space.

I have already 4 x 18" overland rims sitting at my home and my friend has this large garage only for his Boxster, so it was no issue to ask him for the storage.

But I still have 4 Corvette rims laying arround and as soon as I have sold them I will have enough space for the recently purchased ...

I was thinking that the power band was out of adjustment, too loose.

Wow, you got balls!

I can't imagine something going wrong at that speed in these high-center-of-gravity aluminum cans. Everything is good until one evasive move is needed.

I am afraid they would need a shop vac to suck up the human remains and the Jeep could be swept up with a broom and dustpan.

and it is the most terrifying 96 MPH ever!

These things definitely weren't made for speed, I don't even watch for cops any more.
My Escort is officially retired.

95mph is the fastest I remember ever going. I did it recently on my new 37s just to test em out. Surprisingly stable at those speeds, but loud ass wind noise of course.

I typically coast between 65-75 on road-trips.
