Well 16k miles on mine with no issues until recently, my transmission makes a whine, while going up hill revving high. Normal driving it doesn't do it. I noticed it this weekend, heading up to Tahoe.

With ya on the gear ratios. First and reverse are too high and 6th should be swapped for a granny.Overall I'm happy with mine closing in on one year in. My only complaints is the auto start thing (ole lady hates it as well) and I wish first/reverse gears were a bit lower geared (manual). Otherwise, seems well built. Really hoping to keep it for a long time, eventually replace it with a different daily driver.
Just making sure you know shadowspapa was being sarcastic. Just clarifying.Guess I avoided the âbunch of hooeyâ - I am eight months and 5,500 miles in with my 80th Anniversary Edition and havenât had one issue - everything works perfectly - great performance and build quality - one happy camper so quit yer bitchin.
Yep - liked the first so much, and had such great luck with it, I bought another without any reservations.Just making sure you know shadowspapa was being sarcastic. Just clarifying.
I dunno, cars have been my life since I was 14 many many moons ago. Most people arenât weirdos like me who can talk cars all day long.
You and me both, though only on a professional level (diesel tech) for a relatively short period of time. If it has four wheels or floats Iâm definitely into it.I dunno, cars have been my life since I was 14 many many moons ago.
My diesel experience is with heavy equipment, tractors, combines, whatever - and limited at that - mostly maintenance and so on.You and me both, though only on a professional level (diesel tech) for a relatively short period of time. If it has four wheels or floats Iâm definitely into it.
