I am once again replying to my own thread from 6 years ago to compare my initial Photoshop to my actual Jeep

Do you have adjustable control arms? If so, have you considered moving the rear tires back a little by lengthening them? They look slightly off-center in the fenders.

Adjustable control arms this spring.

Funny how nobody says anything about the wheelbase shortening on 37s but when you go to 40s and fill the wheel well out a little more everybody notices that 0.4"

This is before wheel spacers and the camera is perpendicular towards the front of the Jeep both contributing to making it look worse than it is, imo. Centering to the wheel well and bump stop at full bump is going to dictate where the wheelbase sits at ride height.

What I want to know is how far forward I can stretch the front axle and what becomes the limiting factor first.

The length of your front drive shaft and whether or not you have a full length bumper, I suspect.
I've installed kits on JLs and JTs before but only really pieced together and built custom setups on older Jeeps with haltenberger style steering. With those the issue usually becomes clearance between the draglink and diff cover assuming you can solve for any binding in the track bar and a longer driveshaft. Once you get to moving the steering box forward you're opening a can of worms. But I'm not sure with the knuckle-to-knuckle setup on the newer Jeeps. I assume is the same thing, drag link clearance with the wheel cut, but there really isn't much or any discussion on it on the forum that I've found.

I would watch out for the bump stops being too far off-center of the pad as well?
