Gladiator Seat Height

Question. 2021 Gladiator. Seat height keep working itself lower. Jack it up 5 pumps to right height, ride, next time I get in its worked itself down to 1-2 pumps.? Anyone got same issue? Suggestions to keep that thing at set height? Thanks.

Don't slide off the seat. By sliding off, you press down on the handle, which lowers the seat.

Saw something once posted about people accidentally hitting the down handle each time when getting out, causing it to drop a tiny bit.

How small are you guys that you need the seat jacked up? I'm 6'3" and wish the seat would go lower. I'll be damned if I'm going to pay $200 for the seat slammers that DDI sells though.

I am 5'8" and its too tall. Mine is a '21 and the height is adjusted with a roller. You're probably rolling it when you get in and out.

I am having this issue also, never had it on my previous Gladiators. Only difference is this one has cloth seats, the other two had leather. I suspect because I am basically a dwarf at 5'8" that I'm somehow slowly sliding it down getting out. Need to do a long road trip and see if there is any drop after 3-4 hrs of driving.

I am 6'03 as well and I almost didn't buy my 2021 JT because of ingress and egress.

It's my wife's daily so its a non issue because she is little.

Never had a seat height issue on our 2021 JTM.

^^^^THIS! I feel like a giant when I get in. I bought the Rock Hard RHX Sliders, which have a step even with the bottom of the door. I can step, but it puts me too high to get in. Between the seat being too high and the top of the door being too low, I have to scrunch up and hope I hit the hole. If the seat was lower and didn't take up so much of the opening, I could just get in from the ground.

Ah, that might be it. Thanks everyone for inputs. Im a skinny, 6ft, and probably hunch a bit, so like it higher, getting old. I do slide out, so will focus on not doing that. Take care all.

I'm 5'6" and ride with the seat jacked 5x. The same thing happened on my old jk. I just got used to lowering all the way and jacking up whenever I got in

Here's what I did. It could easily be done with even more drop. If I was to do it over, I'd put more space between the holes so it would drop the rear some more.

I’m short, 5’4” ish with the right boots! I slide out and crawl back in so I’m always readjusting that doggone thing!! LOL!!

6'4" here and almost drove off without the Jeep. I moved from a 2014 Silverado Crew Cab. It took a while to get used to the smaller cab. It almost felt claustrophobic.
