Next time you call, call "restricted" (*67 then the full number), ask who their shop foreman is and their schedule, then ask who their General Store Manager is, if they ask who's calling just tell them "I'm a customer who has a serious legal issue and will not share that info with you as this is a private matter, please understand" (and if they play bs, just say your name is Steve or something), RECORD YOUR CALL (iOS can do this once the call counter has started) as ALL companies out there, especially corporate ones, do this...and under federal law if you believe it can be used in a legal case, you don't need consent, but when you call you can inform them you're recording the call just like they are (they DO need your consent though). Find out the GM's name, their hours when they're in the office.
- That should get more answers and show how serious you are..

Next, show up before the foreman's lunch but after the shop has been open for an hour. Ask for them BY NAME (you can give your first name, but no other details, other than "it's technical and above your scope" if even asked. Ask the foreman what's going on with your vehicle and to provide paperwork for everything they've documented (they have a required process for this).

THEN, and this is important, SHOW UP to the GSM's office 20 minutes after they are there. If they aren't IN their office but the light is on and you can obviously tell they have been there, just sit there. Whether it's 5 minutes, or 5 hours, you WILL be contacted by a person in that office. You are a CURRENT customer, you are NOT trespassing, or any of that bs they like to play sometimes.
- THIS WILL get their attention.

This process will eliminate any idiot in between the technicians, service writers, and call centers. I worked in the dealership industry for almost 10 years between cars/trucks/motorcycles, in service and sales. THIS is how you get the right attention and answers with the least run around possible.

And for the love of all things 4x4, do NOT discuss things using anything related to the term "LEGAL", "LAWSUIT", or "LAWYER". That is a quick way to get shut out.

And as others have said, where is @JeepCares involved in this?
-I'd also like to point out that I too am having issues getting my cam/lifter issue fixed because "it's intermittent and if it won't do it in the shop we can't help you....no matter how many videos you send of the OBVIOUS noise over multiple days/months"...and in similar shoes as @818Gladiator

Unless there’s a back order it shouldn’t take more than a week to get the trans. When I managed a gm parts department it all depended on what warehouse they were coming from. I’m in PA and would order the 6 and 8 speeds from a dealer in Texas for under cost and free freight, they would get to me FedEx in 2 days. That being said it should only be a day or 2 repair depending on the technician. Even faster if your truck is already torn apart. Good luck, maybe it’s time to make them give you a rental. That may push them to get your vehicle back because at some point it will start costing the dealer money.

Awful smh, Over 75 days is unaccepted and does damage to the brand's reputation.
The craziest part about this is, Jeep has been damaging their reputation in the service department for YEARS, if not decades. And we all still own a Jeep.

Nah I don’t have any problems with most people. Just with incompetent people.

I have been certified as “Crazy as a Loon” by the VA though. I just remind them that I’m not crazy. Everyone else is crazy. I’m normal.

Or 2? Despite what Ford or Toyota want you to believe, there is 0 competition out there for a serious wheeler. That said, I don't even go back to the dealer for the free oil changes. Can't be disappointed by their services if you never use them. Fortunately at 180k+ miles between the 2 JLs and the JT we've never had a warranty issue so they never needed to go back.

Load up that 550 with fuel tanks. Drive it through the front door. Strike a match and let it burn. 🔥

just sayin what you’re probably thinking. Sucks you have to go through that. Hopefully they get it resolved.
This is exactly what I'm thinking. And at Day 77, I'm probably doing it.

Exactly why mine hasn't been back to the dealership since I picked it up. I would have sourcex a trans and not missed my summer with the jeep.

Hello 818, I take my Gladiator and Wrangler to Aaron CDJR in Norco for service. I also once had a 2016 Charger Hellcat and a 2005 Magnum RT that I used to take there for service. It's probably a 90 minute drive form your location, they've always been good to me even for recall stuff. Might be worth a second opinion.

I took my gladiator to Bravo Jeep in Alhambra, CA. I have a manual gladiator, while in second gear at low speeds, below 10mph and especially under load like turning or going up or down a hill, it would pop out of 2nd gear. At first it would happen maybe once every 2 months for the last year, however because it was so random and I could never replicate it, the dealership said everything was normal. But about 4 months ago it’s started happening every time I drove the jeep, it pops out of second gear. My jeep has 28k miles, it’s still under powertrain warranty.

I have called bravo Jeep every week for the last 75 days, thats how long the Jeep has been at the dealership. I was told 30 days ago that the transmission was going to be rebuilt at the dealership, and 10 days ago was told that Jeep now wants the manual transmission to be replaced, that a new manual transmission had been ordered and was already on the way, and that everything will be covered under warranty. But now i can no longer get anyone on the phone. I leave messages with the person who answers the phone, and they promise someone will call me in 10 minutes and no one ever calls me back.

At this point I’m not sure what to do. And this situation has become frustrating. No rental car, I haven’t had the jeep all summer. Missed all my trips planned for the summer. Missed my rubicon trip, will probably miss my Utah trip I had planned for the end of the month.

Jeepcares if you are out there, would appreciate some help.
If it was me I would go there and take it and go home , pull the transmission and change that second gear synchronizer myself.
Manual transmissions are not complicated at all to rebuild. Parts can be ordered heck you can order the whole transmission from @AllMoparParts.com
Back to step 1 get the Gladiator and if mechanic work isnt ypur thing take it to another dealership.

I'd recommend you start your Lemon Law procedures. Working through the paperwork does not commit you to going through with it. My 2022 Mojave sat at the dealership here in San Diego for over 4 months while "specialists" came from LA and around the country to diagnose it's problem. It would sit for weeks between some new part or expert arriving with "the answer." Starting the Lemon paperwork mysteriously made the process speed up, and eventually, the problem go away. That was 2+ years ago. I did not accept the Lemon offer, but my legal paperwork clearly documents that I can do so at any time if any similar problem were you reoccur. (They would renegotiate the dollar offer)
For those interested, my problem was, when driving at speed (50+ mph) it , on its own, would do a "noise down, panic stop" reduction of speed. I initially thought it was the brakes coming on or the transmission dropping 2 gears. The dealer was able to replicated the problem a couple of times, but not regularly. The majority of the time at the dealership it sat in the lot, but they did inspect, measure, test: brakes, emergency brakes, engine and transmission and the systems involved with controlling all of the above. The cause was never documented officially. I think the answer was that the engine was stopping for a few second and the fix was they reprogrammed it. It's been good now for 17,000 miles, but I'm holding on to the Lemon Law paperwork.

Before my Gladiator, I leased a Wrangler 4xe. Unfortunately, it had a major issue where the engine would suddenly shut off while driving, along with a bunch of smaller problems. It spent so much time at the dealership that I eventually hired a lemon law attorney and got my money back.

Now I’m driving a Gladiator, but I’m dealing with a metal grinding noise. It’s making me seriously question whether this Jeep is really the right vehicle for me. I love Jeeps, but it’s frustrating to be dealing with another issue so soon.

You might want to look into filing a lemon law claim. If you’re interested, I’d be happy to recommend the attorney who handled my case. I live in Los Angeles, and they did a great job helping me through the process.

Had to be the E-Water from the Buffaloes. HYDRATE OR DIE!!!

Not even sure if they’re doing e-water anymore. Probably have some new fru fru thing they use for recruits now to be kinder and gentler.
