Next time you call, call "restricted" (*67 then the full number), ask who their shop foreman is and their schedule, then ask who their General Store Manager is, if they ask who's calling just tell them "I'm a customer who has a serious legal issue and will not share that info with you as this is a private matter, please understand" (and if they play bs, just say your name is Steve or something), RECORD YOUR CALL (iOS can do this once the call counter has started) as ALL companies out there, especially corporate ones, do this...and under federal law if you believe it can be used in a legal case, you don't need consent, but when you call you can inform them you're recording the call just like they are (they DO need your consent though). Find out the GM's name, their hours when they're in the office.
- That should get more answers and show how serious you are..
Next, show up before the foreman's lunch but after the shop has been open for an hour. Ask for them BY NAME (you can give your first name, but no other details, other than "it's technical and above your scope" if even asked. Ask the foreman what's going on with your vehicle and to provide paperwork for everything they've documented (they have a required process for this).
THEN, and this is important, SHOW UP to the GSM's office 20 minutes after they are there. If they aren't IN their office but the light is on and you can obviously tell they have been there, just sit there. Whether it's 5 minutes, or 5 hours, you WILL be contacted by a person in that office. You are a CURRENT customer, you are NOT trespassing, or any of that bs they like to play sometimes.
- THIS WILL get their attention.
This process will eliminate any idiot in between the technicians, service writers, and call centers. I worked in the dealership industry for almost 10 years between cars/trucks/motorcycles, in service and sales. THIS is how you get the right attention and answers with the least run around possible.
And for the love of all things 4x4, do NOT discuss things using anything related to the term "LEGAL", "LAWSUIT", or "LAWYER". That is a quick way to get shut out.
And as others have said, where is @JeepCares involved in this?
-I'd also like to point out that I too am having issues getting my cam/lifter issue fixed because "it's intermittent and if it won't do it in the shop we can't help you....no matter how many videos you send of the OBVIOUS noise over multiple days/months"...and in similar shoes as @818Gladiator
