Agree with this guy. The difference between my Max Tow and a similar spec'd Rubi was like ~$1-2k when I ordered from Gupton. The difference is I will never rock climb, but I will pull some jet skis behind me.
I’ll never pull jet skis, but I do rock crawl. 😎

You all got me thinking about all the inflated numbers ,I do that sometimes .
I purchased my RUBI off the lot JULY 2019 just under $46,000 listed for $53,560 .
2 inch lift ,rims /35 tires ,some skid plates ,roll bar lights (old school )
I am still under list price with mods .

You can still buy Zimas??!
Every so often, they do limited runs but that is about it. I think it has been a few years since the last one.

A few years? It's been a decade since I seen it. LOL

They discontinued making it for national distribution sometime in the late 2000's. Then around 2017-2018 made a couple of short runs of it that sold out quick.

No mention of steel hood, beefed up frame, and iron knuckles. It's almost as if he doesn't know.
They truly are blissful. It's not just an old saying.
And to think the beefed up frame paired with the squishy suspension can’t handle the weight of a real engine.

My overland diesel has iron knuckle….

I'll sum up for everyone, you're welcome.

Rubicon
Most capable stock rig with disconnecting sway bar and front & rear locker

Mohave
Most overrated rig so you you can tell your buddy you have an upgraded trim but it actually accomplishes nothing and costs more

Overland
Best bang for your buck and all around rig for the average off-roader not wanting to push the limits... while still getting you a nice loaded interior to enjoy around town

Sport
😬

I don't believe I said anything confrontational or inaccurate so everyone please just agree with me. Thank you.

Kidding, Sport interior is actually decent imo and is a good option for cheaper price point or still nice enough if a guy just wants a base trim to build his own way. Mohave's are sick too, I'd still go with the Rubi over it, but it was $10k more in my area that I couldn't justify using/needing.
I feel like giving you another reason to throw shade. Love my 2021 High Altitude! I’m in finance and use it for work covering a multi state territory. Practical no, comfortable yes! I put 25k hwy on per year and wanted adaptive cruse and a more comfortable ride. Test drove a loaded Mojave but the reduced gas milage didn’t make sense for my purposes. In four years when it ages out (work auto reimbursement) I’ll lift it, add lockers, 4:1, bed rack etc and make it a very overpriced weekend crawler! Babying it so I plan to have fun for years…

Regardless of the trim you get, the gladiator is a healthy midlife crisis and can fit many lifestyles and budgets!

P.S. I have two ducks on my dash and they haven’t fallen off during any of my business trips. Beats driving a sedan!!!
