So as I suspected, my “Ship” date (7/20) is pretty much spot-on my actual “Build” Date.I figure it's when those parts are shipped to the assembly line. I doubt someone carries each one so there's got to be some truck shagging the parts across the acres of ground from A to B. Years ago in Kenosha, parts like axles, engines and such were literally trucked, so in a sense they were shipped. I've got pics of major car parts on trucks heading to the assembly location.
Yes, and it looks like maybe you can begin to see a faint light at the end of that long tunnel. So as I suspected, my “Ship” date (7/20) is pretty much spot-on my actual “Build” Date.

Not only will yours be put together in a slipshod manner, there will be a half eaten tuna sandwich deposited behind the backseat passenger plastic panels.I'll share my fears here like I did in the Gobi waiting thread...
Is my build going to be rushed now because of the model year switchover at the factory? Will it be compromised because of the rush to end the year or is this business as usual?
This waiting sucks, especially since I waited 16 weeks only to get a damaged rig and had to reorder... I would not choose to be in this position timing wise. I ordered a European car about a week after the Gladiator and have a 2023 model and a reliable delivery time period of mid-November, I could've had October but wanted a restricted build option... And that's with Trans-Atlantic shipping...
My “first ship date aka build date” came from my dealer, and subsequently from the tracker. How are you guys getting your first ship date aka build date? My tracker shows scheduled for production on 6/20 but my dealer has nothing for a what the actual scheduled production date is.
Ignore that crazy tracker. It is usually right about one thing and that's after you already have the info from your dealer. They need to fire whoever designed the data gathering behind that thing. Cool idea, very poorly implemented. How are you guys getting your first ship date aka build date? My tracker shows scheduled for production on 6/20 but my dealer has nothing for a what the actual scheduled production date is.
I hope that sandwich has mayo and pickle relish, that’s the way I like mine. Not only will yours be put together in a slipshod manner, there will be a half eaten tuna sandwich deposited behind the backseat passenger plastic panels.
Today I got text from my dealership that me Jeep will arrive tomorrow (July 21). Jeep tracker still shows estimated delivery July 29. So hope is it is also possible that the vehicle arrived ahead the schedule on tracker. I ordered from a dealership in California. Finally I got “built” today after 55days from order. Window sticker is not available yet. Estimate delivery date was changed from July 30 to TBD.
Knowing the shipping is another slow process, I am glad for now.
FYI. Below schedule so far and spec.
