Gladiator Window Sticker and Build Sheet Order Tracking

On the tracker it shows a 2 door sahara, but when I pull up the build sheet from the tracker it shows it as a Gladiator. Not sure if you can see or open the build sheet since I got an email with a link to it from the tracker.

Yeah, that may be on your side (we can't see your VIN and don't have option to open build sheet). Tracker may need some JT updates since the stats page only shows JLs too.

Yes, we saw this ebay ad last week I think, and it was confirmed to be a wrangler. They're just trying to get people in the door:

So it's ebay right, you now have to put a VIN to sell a car, so, there are no Gladiator VINs readily available (1 person on here has one), so why not use the next best thing? A Wrangler VIN? LoL confusing ad.

For the life of me I can't find the thread where we talked about this... maybe it got deleted by the mods..

Here's a JT window sticker...VIN shows up as a 2 door Sahara JL. Looks like the tracker needs updating to track JTs.

Saw that number above the price that looks like a VIN, but the VIN is in the lower right above the bar code. This site (https://vpic.nhtsa.dot.gov/decoder/Decoder) shows it's mostly a valid VIN (2020 Dodge pickup), except for maybe one character (which is clearly a T in the window sticker). Unless the window sticker is bogus...

@Yakpimp updated the tracker tool. Here's notes on the updates:

• I added a bunch of new logic today to filter things out. It will also route your VIN to the right site if you put it in the wrong one. (JT to Gladiator site, JL to JL site)
• Fixed the year and door count as well. I need some examples of sport vs rubicon if you have them.

There are now Gladiator VINs being tracked!

You need a VIN to use the tracker. As far as I know, no one with a LE has a VIN yet. Lots of discussion about that in these threads:

Think the VINs currently entered in the tracker today (4/18/19) are all pre-spec builds (factory builds being delivered to dealers in the first wave of deliveries). I think initial pre-spec builds show an order date of 1/23/19.

LEs should show an order date of 4/4/19 (or within a week or so after that). Mine shows 4/5/19 on my build sheet, since that's when my LE order was actually placed. I don't have a VIN (yet!).

@andrewrusso sent me his build sheet to help get the tracker running (thanks!), and even though he entered an order date of 4/1 into the tracker, his build sheet shows an order date of 1/23/19. I'm guessing the other one currently showing a 4/4/19 order date is also pre-spec.

I spoke to my dealer today about my LE and he said it was still in BG.
He also said they will be receiving 13 spec gladiators but did not know when they would arrive.
He also said they had 5 LE’s on order but only two had names. The dealership was trying to get some but he said they would likely never go through because they do not have a name or a sold status listed. So, with that information, I believe FCA is still working through the list of people that were put on the wait list.
