Good News D Status Brethren,

Jeep Chat just informed me that we should only be in "D" status for 30 days before we move into the build phase. So everyone look back to your Vin date and add 30. That is apparently when I moved into "D", Have no idea why at one point I was "D1" but at least we all have solid confirmation now.

I know this news will help everyone sleep better tonight.

I'm also a current member of the Sarcasm Society.

Good Luck to all and congrats to those already driving your new rides.

Yikes. Mine won't get to build status until mid June then. I'm assuming the 30 days encompasses D and D1?

Just talked to my dealer and mine has been shipped and should be here by Monday (Dealer is 60 miles from Toledo). Monday was still in D1 (has been D1 for about 3 weeks), Thursday was in F and today is on a truck. Original est ship date was 6/10 so I am pretty happy with the early ship.

I Honestly have no clue. By their dates I have been in D status for 24 days. My dealer was told I moved into D1 on 5/14.

I personally feel that steel bumpers or trail cams came in and the LE's were all moved into the line and all other orders were suspended and or downgraded. I don't have anything on my build that has ever been suspect for a delay but my order went from "all parts in" to "waiting on parts" over night.

I do think all LEs should be built first but I feel like I was almost on the line when they changed direction.

I'm sure they are all doing the best they can, just frustration for all involved.

Here is a good one. Started a chat with FCA chat was told, "All the materials for your order have been gathered, Bruce, it is just waiting to be built now."
I reply, "The dealer stated it had a June 2nd delivery date?"
FCA nope you just order May 8th can take 8-12 weeks. Can sit like this for 6 weeks.
AS I AM TYPING A REPLY OF, "I ordered May 2nd & recieved a VIN on May 6th are you sure you have the correct vehicle order"
FCA closes the chat so I saved the transcript. @JeepCares What do you think of that?

Jeep help line and dealership were unable to get me update as my est ship date was May 23. Today a resource found my VIN is scheduled for week of June 17

Well, I may be the lone exception to the 30 day rule. Today is day 36 in D status. The concierge lady will not provide me with anything regarding estimated times, or general rules or anything else. All I get is "Nothing new. Thanks, call back in 2 to 3 weeks". Thinking maybe I should cancel my LE and start fresh on a new custom JTR, I bet I would get it sooner!

Just to add to the conversation I have a Black LE on order with the steel bumper. I know they all came with the steel bumper, but apparently it was a selectable option when placing the order for some reason.
Order Date: 5/16
VIN received: 5/24 (D status)
Dealer emailed today to say it's moved to D1
