Very very true, makes no sense at all

I’ve always heard it’s because of Canadian privacy laws. Some lawyer interpretation probably shut it down years ago.
I would be willing to bet Jeep chat is fine helping Canadians for the other topics they support like vehicle features etc.

Well we will see if and when I ever get my truck, not sure what privacy law they could be going against by telling us what stage our build it at.. very weird for sure. I have been lucky a couple times and have got a nice rep who has provided me detail but more often I hear” sorry this is a Canadian order so you have to talk to dealership, we are only for American customers”

Build/Inspection completed, apparently including the MOPAR katzkin leather seats. Awaiting shipment.

Ordered 2-25 and 4-20 the dealer informed me the truck is on their lot and should be ready today 4-23. They mentioned it will be getting an alarm, which I did not order and I told them I don't want but they said they put it in all vehicles then disable for those who don't want it. I called them back and demanded they not install the alarm, so we'll see how that goes. Hope to pick the truck up today and the last few days have of waiting have been more nerve wracking than the first few.

That sucks. I bet it already has it added. They come off the truck and go into PDI. That guy is paid per unit. If no one was looking out for the sold order they just go into the funnel and get whatever the dealer packs them with.

I used to be an internet director for a dodge dealership. If I had an ordered vehicle, I made it an event for the customer. Every morning I would track my orders and I'd update customers when applicable. I would notify them when the transport truck was coming so they could watch the arrival if they wanted and then we'd prep for delivery.

I made it the event it should be. Sometimes I miss vehicle sales, but coding is cool too ?

Nice! Is it an auto or manual? What options and Mopar add-ons like bed liner and bed cover? I ordered the same day as you and would be interested to see how they compare on timelines.

Just got home with the new beast and its beautiful. The dealer had installed an alarm and I had them remove it completely while we did the new vehicle paperwork. Vehicle ordered 2-25-2021 and took possession today on 4-23-2021. Not bad and well within the estimated time. The dealer said that was very quick delivery these days.
