Gobi is even prettier in person. So happy with my decision and the manual is the shit. People who talk trash must have never grew up driving stick. We put on over 700 miles from the Skyline Drive into the Blue Ridge Parkway then back to Charleston. Almost had a minor aneurism from a few deer almost launching over the hood in the mountains but we made it back to the Lowcountry. You guys are gonna love it. The manual is a blast and my dad is a 911 guy and I’ve driven a lot of different manuals. It’s smoooooth.

I wanted a manual but the towing capacity is way too low. I'm already giving up a sizable amount moving down from my Ram. I need to squeeze every pound out of that 7650. Lol

Same here - really wanted manual but couldn’t give up the towing.

The extra towing capacity is amazing but I’m a salt water fly fisher and my flats boat is not even 1200 pounds and my old Tacoma pulled it like it was nothing and that Tacoma was only rated for 3600 pounds. The Rubicon with a Manual does 1000 more and I don’t even need it so it was an easy decision for me but I totally get that.

Bacon arrived today. Got the name while watching Varsity Blues. Dealer sent a pic fresh off the delivery truck. We will be picking it up Wednesday. Was planning on the Mopar 2 inch lift but may be second guessing it now.
I love how it looks so far.

Got it today. Here are some hard top pics in different light. Forgive the "models" they were more excited than I was.

Jeep is really stupid about how they do shit.
I ordered 21 days before you and mine has been built and just sitting on the lot before you even ordered and shipping to the same dealer.
40 days in KZ and they left it in the lot to ship vehicles built after it. What a crock of shit.

Glad yours made it but someone at Jeep needs remedial training.

I hope they get yours on a train soon. Sorry to hear about that.

Reading about time delays if you ordered certain options over months of time while waiting for Gobi to be available, lead me to order the main options only.

Now, I have to wait for our rims to show up from AEV. Derek informed me that they ship out and just kind - of said "you my get them by friday". So now, the wife and I wait again.

In the end, it will be well worth the wait.

Now I am even more excited waiting for mine to be delivered. I also see that I picked the right color!
