Picked up my Gobi on 12/7 - black leather interior, trailer tow package, cold weather group, aux switch group, Gorilla Glass windshield, 33" Falken M/Ts and spray-in bedliner. Not necessarily the exact options I would have picked, but this was on the dealer's lot and offered instant gratification!

In four weeks I have a little over 3k miles on her ... sadly all highway ... I joined the cracked windshield club while on a Christmas road trip to Florida. So now waiting for another GG windshield since it was OE and my insurance covers glass with a $0 deductible.

I should be able to spend the next few weeks in the woods during trapping season and plan to put her to work then.

Lots of good looking rigs in this thread, I'll need to start working on some mods soon....

Looking at wheels lately. Totally aesthetic question - is Gobi + bronze wheels too much? I actually haven't found any example pics to judge from...

Have had mine since September. Only Overland on a lot near me that wasn't black or white. Lucky, too, because I really love this color

Hey Y'all, I am in an exodus from JL forums as my special ordered Gobi Willys XR JLU tan interior and tan soft-top that is still not fixed after 5 months in the shop. I am starting round two with a Gladiator after that 2.0t engine nightmare. Let's focus on the positives with Gobi color, Dark Saddle leather, a hard top, steel bumper, gorilla glass, an alpine sound system, an 8.4-inch screen, a Rubicon, and most importantly it has a 3.6 engine. I traded out Wednesday hoping for the best with my fingers crossed. I dropped over 7k on that nightmare, with barely having it in my possession for 30 days total since bought it. The dealership is doing me a solid and will have my winch moved over next week. I ordered a bed mat just need running boards. I am considering a headliner and bed over.

What a beautifully, sad, happy story. Hopefully your new JTR treats you much better. I love the look, but I'm partial.

People are right, the color really does vary. Sometimes it almost looks white

Really enjoyed seeing everyones ride. Here is our 22 Gobe we picked up about a month ago. I have lots of plans to set it up for overlanding trips the next few years!
