Gorilla Glass Not Showing on Build Sheet

Was just driving on 95 and got hit with a random rock, left a nice crack that felt like was growing as I drove... I've got insurance/comprehensive, so should be free. But will they install OEM/Gorilla glass again or an alternative?

Allstate in NC will install OEM glass on Wranglers and Gladiators. My JK has had multiple windshields. Every time Allstate authorized and Safelite installed OEM glass.

Great, was just curious, sent an email to my agent and wanted to know if I should point out the specific type of windshield or not. Will let you know how State Farm in SoFlo proceeds.

My experience over the years with multiple Jeeps has been that it will be OEM glass unless it's a non-insurance thing then you can request something cheaper if it's out of pocket or you have a high deductible.

Interestingly enough, they wouldn't pay for OEM glass on my 2017 Grand Cherokee that has full coverage.

The WJ, I didn't expect them to pay for OEM glass and I was fine with aftermarket glass. I was a little miffed on the WK2 but I don't have a glass deductible on any of my Jeeps so as long as it was replaced, I didn't squawk.
