They arent just about bashing rocks or extreme cycling, although they are well suited for such.
The ride they provide are just light years ahead of the rocksports.
I had a set on my JKU. After 5 years of bashing, crawling, and everything i could throw at it, they still rode like a Cadillac. Pull them off and send them in for rebuild for less than the price of a new set of shocks.
They are simply a superior shock. If you have the money to spend, spend it there. Your back will thank you when overlanding.
im running FOX 2.0 not rocksports. good enough for what I do

Bought this 2022 Texas Trail brand new in July. Rubicon would’ve been overkill for where I live (Texas Gulf Coast), so I went with what is essentially a sport+ and put the extra $ into upgrading it for my use (beach, mud, daily driving).

So far, upgrades include:
2.5” Readylift SST Lift Kit
Fox Rubicon takeoff shocks
35x12.50r18 Venom Power Terra-Hunter XT’s
18x9 -12mm offset Rocktrix RT105’s
N-fab Nerf side steps
Kiwi Master led headlights
Auxbeam led fog lights
Rough Country air intake
Pedal Commander
Taser Lite programmer
Small interior upgrades (storage, seat covers, etc.)

I’m going for a stock+ build, so I won’t be going crazy with exterior mods (grills, fenders, etc.). The only big thing I have left on my wishlist is the Mopar steel front bumper & led tail lights.

Looks great!

Did you by chance measure how much lift that 2.5” Readylift actually netted? I only ask because those 35s fill up the wheel well very nicely. I am getting the 2.5” Clayton lift and want to run 35s but I have been told the Clayton 2.5” actually results in closer to 3.25” and I afraid 35 might look too small but I’m not crazy about the idea of going 37s for several reasons.

It came out to 2.5 inches on the front and 2 inches in the back. I think the variance happens when you’re changing springs, but the Readylift sst kit is just spacers.

First post...I'm in NW Montana.....I had an '87 YJ in the mid 90's but always wanted a CJ8......this is new to me, picked up this weekend....2021 with 15k miles. 2" mopar lift, 37" Firestones, rockslide steps, loaded but for LEDs and plastic bumper. Decisions, decisions, decisions....

Your Gladiator looks awesome. I have a 2021 granite crystal Overland and I just received the Readylift sst 2.5 and Rocktrix rims. Did you have to replace the lug nuts on yours?
