I did call the dealership over the weekend and asked about it, the sales guy said someone at the dealership drove it around for a few hundred miles to bring attention to the gladiators. Agreed it's kind of a sham that they include $2k trade-in, $2k finance, and $500 military requirements in the advertised price.

40K OTD for a used LE ... Not so preposterous

I talked to the dealership today and asked for an out the door price. They emailed me this quote:
Sales price: 54,399 (not the originally listed 49,999 and not the currently listed 53,999)
Destination: 1,495
Tax: 3,353.64
Doc Fees: 599
Registration: 101
Total OTD: $59,947.64

I'm about 3 hrs south of them in TN. The taxes they calculated are wrong for TN, and registration in TN is $51 max for a new vehicle according to my county clerk (29 for tags, 11 for title, and 11 for lien holder paperwork if applicable). I have another email in to them about it asking about the issues. Waiting to hear back.

But the 54,399 price sounds good until you realize it doesn't include the destination charge like the 3 other quotes I have which do include the destination charge and at just a couple hundred dollars more.
