I know most of us have had bad experiences with Jeep dealerships. I know I have. My current dealership is outstanding. I purchased two jeeps since December 2023. The parts manager is the best I have seen. Even finds me great deals on non jeep vehicle parts. Jeep parts and supplies are cheaper through him than any online source.
The service department is excellent also. They go above and beyond on warranty and recall work. I am very impressed. It’s nice to know a few good dealerships are still out there.

Is somebody, I mean is anybody gonna ask him? I say we all try to guess and the winner gets taken out back for a beating. I'll go first.

Glad to hear but are they consistent and long term with that level of service?

Jeff, I'm not right in the head and I'm just having fun with the post.

I have a great dealership too. Bob Moore OKC has a service writer named Aaron who is outstanding! I trust him all the way.

They’re not all bad, unfortunately they get a bad wrap from the greedy and lazy ones. I work at a gm dealership and like to think we go above and beyond for everyone, with how unreliable the new vehicles are the last thing a customer needs is the cold shoulder run around from dealership employees.

I completely agree with you. It's not like the 80s where dealerships were featured on news programs (Landmark, Houston, TX) for how dishonest they were. I hope that eras black marks are being lessened by the number of good dealerships that are operating today. The service, sales, and parts people at Bob Moore, OKC are outstanding. I also have used Seth Wadley, Pauls Valley, OK and loved the dealership.

My local has made a couple small mistakes BUT they owned them and made it right. Because of their actions I trust them and continue to do business with them. Nobody is perfect. But admitting to a mistake and fixing that mistake is fantastic to me. Once they overfilled my transmission. They took it back, diagnosed the issue (which I thought was a leak), cleaned up the overspray and re-serviced the transmission.
Irvine Tuttle Click. I’ve used them for close to ten years now and will continue to use them on my new Gladiator.

I haven't used any of the three largest dealers in our immediate area for anything substantial in a very long time. I can't necessarily say they are "bad" but they sure as shit seem to believe in apathy as a business model.

My one and only experience with them wasn't so good. Went for my Wave oil change and tire rotation. They filled 6 quarts of 5W-20 and said they couldn't find the tire lock so no rotation. I challenged him on the 6 quarts and 5W-20 and he insisted it was correct for my JTM and wouldn't change anything. I told the writer the lock was in the glove box. He came back and said sorry can't find it and drove the truck out for me to leave. I opened the glove bax grabbed the tire lock and waved it under his nose. They did the rotation and I'm done with them.

Was this the Tustin Tuttle Click or the Irvine (same owner - go figure)? I was disappointed in the Tustin dealership and never returned. I am mid way between the two. Irvine has always treated me better and overall done a better job.
Either way I understand your feelings. If you’re giving me an oil change and tire rotation then give it to me.

It was Irvine. I'm also about half way between both. Been to Tustin before too. So-so service over the years. I have an appointment Monday for parking brake repair at Tustin. Not looking forward to the experience.

Exactly. Every person working there is an individual - it's how management responds to their people in times less than perfect that matters.
I got a couple of apologies (from the general manager and the sales guy) and a free tank of gas from the dealership I bought my 25 JTMX from because their prep was less than great and the brake fluid was literally TOPPED OFF - well above the "max" level on the tank.

The dealership I have used has had its ups and downs. Currently, they have been excellent and have a new service manager. I've also been privileged to work with helpful service advisors. The system they use now to communicate via text has made it easier to receive timely responses as they spend their day on hold to the warranty companies.
