Wanted to document my build as this is my first Jeep. I have a BMW M3 (G80) as my weekend toy and I’m building this 2023 Gladiator Mojave as my daily driver.

Build [Planned]:
  • Rugged Ridge Armis Hard Rolling Bed Cover
  • [Planned] 20” Fuel Flux wheels in matte black
  • [Planned] 37” Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T tires
  • [Planned] Leveling Kit and steering stabilizer
  • [Planned] Oracle Oculus headlights
  • [Planned] Oracle tail lights
My local Jeep builder believes the leveling kit is all I need for the 37” tires, and I’m hoping they’re right. If I do need a lift, I’ll likely be doing a 2” or 3” lift. TBD. All the parts should arrive late this week and expectation is to be done first week of March. I will be updating this thread as I go.

I’d love to see your recommendations if you have any!

These are already outdated. I swapped out the Oracle taillights which were nothing but trouble for a set of the Combat OffRoad tails. New pictures to come soon.

I'd consider staying with 17" wheels myself. More sidewall and a better ride in my opinion. Clearly better on the trail when aired down. I guess it depends on what your intentions are.
I totally agree with this

Thanks both. I’ll be daily driving this on NJ highways and local paved roads. I will almost never use it off-road other than the occasional beach run. For that reason, I like the aesthetics of the 20” wheels with 37” tires more. Do you both find a 17” wheel on 37” tires drives better on pavement than 20” wheels?

Since you are planning oracle lighting tail lights and headlights- maybe consider changing the fender lights while you are at it and have everything LED (of course you may need to change computer setting with Jscan or tazerjl)
I personally think 35” is really all the Mojave needs - but in any case keep the 17” wheels

I can only speak to a Ram 1500 I had that was on 20s. I hated it. Felt much more harsh.

Bro wants a pavement princess for tooling around Jersey an maybe getting Snooki down at the shore a little moist.

People here may not fully appreciate that it's a look you're going for rather than upgrading for off road prowess.

Are you familiar with the angry birds grill?

Thanks for this although I’m not sure it’s helpful. The angry birds style grill isn’t something I’m considering at this time but appreciate the recommendation.

No reason to post crap like this. The op has every right to do whatever he want with his truck. One thing about this forum that I like is that people are civil most of the time.
