Has anyone had rough idle?

Shortly before my truck's first oil change I was noticing occasionally at cold start it would have a rough idle. Didn't matter how long I waited, it wouldn't go away in any reasonable amount of time until starting to drive. I brought it into the dealer and they could not recreate the issue. It is now a few months later and it much more rough than before, and happens much more often than before. Again, this isn't a normal cold-start idle, I can sit there for 10 minutes and it will still be shaking until I get going. I also don't live somewhere cold, it's rarely below 85 degrees at any time of the year.

I get it occasionally when the automatic stop/start happens at a stop. When it cranks back up I have experienced some slight rough idle. Normally goes away once I start moving. It never does it if I turn that feature off.

Buddy of mine just took his in for rough idle...ended up getting an entire new engine on his JTR. I think he only had about 3K miles on it. I have had some intermittent rough idle...but his scenario has made me kind of freak out a little.

did you or he ever find out why they replaced the whole engine because of rough idle?

I have noticed lately a bit of shudder at start up when on cold starts while still idling. I am at 1K and going to keep an eye on it.

I have about 1000 miles on mine and have noticed the rough idle. I mainly notice it in the morning but I'm going to pay more attention to it

Didn't the flash that pertained to a check engine light (P0300) also talk about rough idle or am I misremembering?
