Has anyone purchased a dealer black widow package

People do buy them, I wouldn't because I can save about $12,000-$15,000 and get and do most of it myself or have a other shop do it. Maybe not Black widow stuff but you can get most of that stuff done to a jeep for around $15,000 and some of it I wouldn't want any way.

I stopped in today getting my tires rotated and saw some of their insanely marked up black widow packages. Has anyone here ever purchased one at a good price and feel content with the purchase?

25k markup and no LED package. Will someone actually purchase this or will it be reduced to hell?

Just curious tbh, I’ve never seen one on the road but only on dealer showrooms.

I live in Central Alabama and recently was in a town named Moody when I saw a Gladiator with the Black Widow package. It was nice, but I still prefer mine. I have a heavily speced JTRD from the factory and doing the rest myself... I guess everyone has different taste... but the Black Widow reminded me of an Escalade more than a Jeep... I will try to grab a pic if I see it in the area again.

Those black widow packages are ugly as hell in my opinion. Never seen it on a Jeep though. I’d go AEV’s package before Black Widow any day.

I have a few dealerships near me that have the Black Widow packaged vehicles. They are usually done on lower trimmed vehicles and add $20-30K of parts. They are obnoxious. I did find that if you finance the vehicle with those packages, you pretty much have to pay for the black widow package out of pocket because the bank doesn't see it as added value so they may only finance the base packaged vehicle. Makes sense but I don't usually throw down $30k when buying a vehicle.
