Stopping in to fan the flames....

I've had Beamtech LED drop in bulbs in my factory halogen housings for two years now. They work fine, light pattern looks good from the driver seat, and they don't appear to blind other drivers in my very unscientific testing:

- Nobody flashes me to say 'hey your headlights suck'.
- I had my girlfriend follow me in my truck at night while I was driving my Camaro SS. Even sitting close to the ground, my truck was no more bothersome in my rear view mirror than any new bro dozer with factory LED headlights.

Your mileage may vary. If you go this route choose quality bulbs and adjust your headlights to compensate for brightness / lift kits / leveling kits, etc...

Really? Inferring I’m an AH? Nice guy. Everything I posted can be backed up on YouTube, using top on the line components in their products. Some of you continue to go about in the dark, more ways than one. Good luck your gonna need it with that attitude.
I didn't infer you were an asshole, I said people using LED bulbs in housings that aren't intended for them are assholes. Asshole behavior makes you an asshole, just like people who lift their Jeeps and don't adjust their headlights and people who think off-road lighting on the road is fine. It's all become so common that people are numb to it. The lack of people flashing you isn't an indicator you're in the right.

Instead of continuing on in the dark, I did it correctly and put OEM LED headlights in my JT and adjusted them properly. You can't adjust out bulb misalignment and if you have some scientifically tested source that isn't some LED company trying to assure customers I'd love to see it.

I'm just about 10-11 months and 15k miles with LED bulbs from Amazon and they've been great, low beams are Bright and High Beams are Amazing. Definitely better than factory Halogen. They've been adjusted properly and have zero issues with drivers in front of me or drivers in the opposing lanes. It's all in the adjustment.

Pretty easy upgrade with the bulb swap, don't let the haters tell you anything about "scatter" or any other nonsense about blinding the approaching vehicles, some people just overthink everything.
I would check laws in states you travel.

https://law.lis.virginia.gov/admincode/title19/agency30/chapter70/section510/

Also on diodedynamics.com, they explain
https://www.diodedynamics.com/street-use-of-led-bulbs

O'Reilly auto also explains.
https://www.oreillyauto.com/how-to-...ED Headlights Legal?,are illegal at this time.

Use at your own risk... Cheap and easy, yes.. But legal...
