New to the forum, and maybe a little surprised to not find a " member introduction" section. But it would be a little impolite to weigh in on topics without saying hi. We just pulled the trigger on a '23 Rubicon Gladiator a couple of weeks ago. Not my first jeep by any means, I've owned CJ 5s and 7s, YJs, TJs, and a JK. I've loved jeeps since I was a kid and would pick up a jeep catalouge at Sears at the catalouge desk. So far I like what I see in this Gladiator. I never know what I will do to one before I've owned it for a while. Here to learn and help if I can.

Welcome from Oklahoma! You've got the right idea, drive it a while before throwing money at it. I've had my Rubicon almost two and a half years now and I still smile every time I get in.

Nice truck, that should stay nice and cool in the summer. Now beat the engine into submission. 👍

You're probably right. The first half dozen Glads I saw when they 1st came out , were sport models with stock wheels. Not saying there is anything wrong with that setup, but I like a little lift and a little more tire. Then I saw a Black Rubicon at a Tenn rest stop with 35s. There is a drool stain to this day on the pavement down there, I'm almost sure.
My JK was my favorite jeep till this one. I'm liking it with every mile.
