Help. Bump stops look all. Fd up

So I just had a lift put on and I noticed a little funny noise coming from the left front end I thought it was just a bracket that held the brake line but when I looked at it the bump stops are all messed up question is who’s think safe to drive to the installer. 300 miles away

You could probably pull them out by hand they look like they may be thin enough when separated. I would get them out before driving. They could bounce and pinch in the coils. Just don't try to jump the truck before you get them reinstalled. Or you could attempt to reinstall yourself.

Personally, I wouldn't go back to that shop, ever.

Looks like they need to learn to do proper install and final check before releasing to customer.

Wow that’s a shame. I wonder what else they didn’t tighten or check. Looks like the lower control arms aren’t adjusted to anywhere near the correct length on top of the bumpstops just sitting there. What lift it is? Name of shop?

hard to tell about the spring bow, you should take a straight on pic front the front.. some bow is normal, sometimes you need spring correction pads

I noticed that immediately, and I would not be driving that truck with the spring looking like that. There is a lot of potential energy in that spring, and it does not appear to be properly secured.

Could just be the angle of the pic but that first pic really looks like something is off with the spring positioning. Top bumpstop appears to be much closer to one side than the other.....also what is securing that brake line bracket to the lower control arm?...and that is piss poor work on the bumpstops that came loose. I would personally want someone that knows what they are doing to look over the whole install.

So the age old dilemma. Go back to the shop that screwed it up or take it to another. Shop. The new shop would be rebel off road

Send the vendor who recommended the shop all your pictures. Maybe a word from that vendor might shape up the shop some.

If you have the tools and the knowledge, make it right yourself and go over every bolt and nut to make sure things are tight.
If you have neither the tools nor the knowledge, ask local 4x4ers who they use.

So would it be ok to drive without bumpstops

Have tools but not the knowledge. I just jacked the truck up a couple of inches and pulled the loose bumpstops out.

I would be more concerned with the coil springs bowing and not being seated correctly in the spring perches.

Yes, you can drive without the bump stops, but one big chuck hole or large bump and you can start doing damage.
