I need your help identifying a solar charging device for my setup. First, here's my explanation...
I have a SPOD Bantamx system with the expansion pack running to the rear bed. There is a 2awg wire (from the front battery) delivering power to a junction block that runs my arb compressor along with the Bantamx switch panel.
Separately I have an Ecoflow delta max battery pack for our overlanding needs. Runs a fridge, coffee maker etc... This charges off of (3) 100w solar panels wired in series that are mounted on my RTT. This delivers (61.2V @ 4.91 amps) to the Ecoflow which has a MPPT inside of it. I wire it this way because it has a 13amp max input.
No here is my dilemma, I would like to revise my bed for a custom drawer system and the 2awg wire and junction block is in the way. I would like to eliminate these two items and just put an independent 12v car battery back in the bed BUT I would like to charge both the independent battery and the Ecoflow off of the solar.
Soo...Is there a device out there that will charge the 12v to the car battery but then overflows to the ecoflow once the 12v battery is full. How would the device know to send 12v to one system and the full 61.2V to the other battery?
As a last resort I can just put a battery selector switch inline of the solar with two outputs. One output can go to a mppt that delivers to the 12v and the other selector can go straight to my ecoflow BUT its something I have to manage. I would like it to run automatically.
Not sure if I should have posted this in the electronics section but figured I would start here...
