The Rapor does offers over the Mojave more power...If maximizing acceleration is your thing go for it on sand... The Mojave is the best all around stock dirt machine out there, especially optimized for sand but also very capable on all other terrain including rock crawling. It has very good acceleration too. Acceleration on the sand is not just about engine power but every other component which puts it on the sand.

Death wobbles and steering problems I am sure some people have them but they are not common at from what I can tell...

And the Mojave is much easily personalized with all sorts of gear...Order the Sun Rider Flip top (like a 1/2 of convertible), kicks the truck up several notches more as far as driving experience.

Good vid comparing the two - enjoy:

I am a huge Ranger fan and have owned 4 of them. I was very excited for the Ranger Raptor but the huge infotainment system is a huge turn off for me and is what made me decide on a Gladiator. I am sure the Ranger will excel in many areas but just too much electronics for it to be viable for me.
How was the 10 speed transmission on your Ranger? Are they as bad as everyone says?

I don’t mind the huge infotainment system but I do mind the dashboard being a full screen. I don’t trust it to be honest.

I would buy the ranger over the Mojave but Good luck getting a ranger raptor any time soon and plan on paying a huge dealer markup if you find one.
Actually they’re easy to find here in Saudi Arabia brand new as they’re not as popular as the Bronco or the F150 Raptor. And the ranger raptor cost $71,000 including tax.

The interior noise is not an issue to me. I just want to make sure that the truck doesn’t have as much issues as people online are mentioning. That’s why I thought why not ask in a Gladiator forum where people actually own them and use them on a daily basis.
People like to complain about vehicle problems a lot more than they like to say good things about them. You can find issues with any vehicle if you go looking for them.

To be honest I don’t care much about the acceleration I want something reliable and fun to drive which both have in there own way.

I like that sun rider flip top. It looks way easier to take off than the hard top.

I will watch the video for sure once I’m home.

The F150 is a completely different vehicle. In both size of the vehicle and motor size. I'm guessing the interiors are also very different both in quality and size.

The Ranger Raptor would be a ton of fun in the dunes and the motor will be very easy to tune and squeeze more power out of.

The new ranger raptor is probably the better dune runner, as ifs is just better on sand. Add in the live valve shocks, more power, lighter weight and it's just more capable for that specific environment. If you are doing dunes the only thing that would be better would be the full size raptor.

Just watched a bit of the video you attached but as you said it’s for the F150 Raptor which is a completely different truck.

I’m sure the Ranger Raptor is going to be fun but my concern is with the 10 speed transmission which many people are having issues with including one of my friends that got a brand new Bronco and his transmission is acting up. I just can’t tell if it’s worth taking the gamble on the Ranger Raptor. In the other hand I know the Gladiator Mojave will be also fun in the dunes while I get a more reliable transmission.

Which vehicle would you rather drive? Ultimately that's the right answer for me. You don't buy a Jeep, off-road vehicle, or sports car because it's the most practical form of transportation. You buy it because it's fun to build and drive and in this case take offroading.
It sounds like you want the Gladiator. The platform has been out much longer so the known issues are out there.

the Sunrider is the best add on purchase i have made having owned 2 jeeps in the past 10 years! it's a definite must have if you buy a hard top jeep!

Probably. But I’m scared to go with the Ranger Raptor and get a bad transmission. That will be a pain in the ass for me as dealers in here (Saudi Arabia) won’t give me much support regarding such an issue. A friend of mine got a brand new Bronco and his transmission is acting up when he addressed that to the dealer he said that’s normal and there is nothing to worry about.

Personally I would choose the Mojave over the Raptor any day. But with that said, I started out with an order for a Wildtrack Bronco and then cancelled for the Mojave. The other strong competitor would be the Chevy Colorado Baja edition for midsize truck with offroad capability.

I wish I can have both haha. I love the look of the Gladiator more and how easy it is to build and play around it. I think I want the Gladiator more and just need that little push from someone for me to go for it.

I really appreciate your help clearing some things up for me. Once I get it I will be posting a picture of it in here.

I think I will be going with the Mojave. When it comes to the Colorado they’re not available here in Saudi Arabia
