So I have been back and fourth on tires multiple times. I have researched threads and read a ton of reviews on every tire out there. I've narrowed it down to two tires mostly due to the price and sizes. I do not plan to put a lift unless I do the Terra Flex 1.5 and Daystar 3/4. For now I would just like to do tires and from what I have read both of these tires should fit my stock Gladiator without rubbing or any issues. I will do a few trails a few times a year, run on some trails in the woods/mud on my property and will be traveling interstate every week which will include traveling in snow in the WV winters. I will not be doing any hardcore rock crawling and will mostly only go on green or blue rated trails. I am leaning towards the BFG's as they are on sale and I think that is a great price compared to what I have researched.

I put Toyo AT3's 35*11.5*17 on mine with a Terraflex leveling kit and have had no issues. I was interested in the weight of the tires before getting them as well. The Toyo's are 63lbs and those KO2's are 60 lbs but are smaller. According to an internet search the Kendra's are 66.6 lbs. Just something to think about as you purchase your tires.

I also thought about that as well, lighter will in theory be a bit easier on the MPG loss. Guess it is a balance on what you really want to achieve overall. In a fantasy world I'd like to keep my 20mpg and get a nice larger off road capable tire as tall as I could shove under there without a lift and as low cost as possible. I know there are compromises though when doing mods..... The weight is probably another reason to go with my gut on the BFG's.

As far as all terrains go, take a look at the following:

Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T

We have been thrilled with the Baja Boss A/T. I personally run these on my wifes RAM 1500. They are the quietest all-terrain I have ever driven. They have a 50K mile tread warranty and are available in plenty of sizes. To include sizes the same or very similar to what you shared.

I like the 255/85r17 in the Baja Boss and have researched them as well, only one thing about them is the price which looks currently to be around $385 per tire which I am not sure I want to spend that much more vs the two I posted above. They do however have great reviews.

Since putting the Toyo's on my mileage is down about 2mpg and that was trying to be as weight conscious as I could be on new wheels and tires.

Check out Walmart.com for pricing. I got 37" tires from there for $286 each.

Yep, they are the cheapest that I have found, that is where the screen shot if from in my original post. Those BFG's are way more anywhere else I've looked. The Kenda's were $5 cheaper on Amazon but they only have 1 tire left there at that price now.

Can never go wrong with the KO2s.......only reason I didn't is they run small on the measurement of height and I got in on that super killer deal Walmart ran last fall for the Maxxis Razr M/Ts

@jcarbs So, just 1.5 to 2" leveling kit for 35s with no issues? What trim do you have? Rubicon? Also, how extreme wheeling do you do?
I'd like to go this route too. I have Sport with max tow.

I have a Willys, I take it on light trails, not much into extreme wheeling. Really just want to have fun with the grandkids. After being in Moab and doing hell's revenge in an ATV, there's no way I'm taking my Gladiator on that trail. It was a blast, but I'd rather do it again in an ATV. LOL

Trail color (?) doesn’t mean much. Deep mud? Sand? Snow? Hard pack? You don’t want to run mud tires on sand or vice versa.

I’ve found the old k02 or the new falken wild peaks are good all-rounders. Nice having a 3 peak snowflake just in case. That’s why they come factory. Good tires for almost anything.

So it will mostly be some light mud, snow, gravel roads and blacktop. The only time I would ever drive in sand is if I go back to Outer Banks which would not be a normal thing. I am planning to order the BFG's this morning, will post pics once I get them mounted up.
