I have a 22 JTRD... and have had my dash cluster set up since new with no issues.

Unless I accidentally changed it.. not sure how that could even happen... one of my favorites changed and I can not figure out how to change it back.

Looking at the pic , you will see: " RANGE" with the remaining milage.

This is new

It used to show the current mpg depending on the dring conditions.

I know there is a meter at the top, but it also had a visible number that matched the graph in the instead of the remaining milage.

Anyone got a clue how to change this ? Or how it got changed in the first place, I would like to change it back.

Thanks

I did... It allows you to choose fuel economy as one of your favorite screens, but it does not give you an option to customize it period that's why I don't understand how in the world it got changed period

If you are looking for the display of current fuel economy number that sometimes shows up under the right hand side of the digital fuel economy gauge.... sometimes it just disappears - and sometimes randomly displays again. Mine went missing for about 2 months, then a few weeks back I noticed that it was displaying again.

Ahhh... this has never happened to me. This is the first time it has disappeared... it was replaced by a range meter... which is growing on me and maybe like better .... now watch it disappear... lol

Seriously though, I wonder why it disappears and reappears... mmm

I think there are two fuel economy screens - the left and right buttons on the driver side of the steering while let you switch between them - but the current economy number seems to have a mind of it's own as to whether or not it will show up :)

Yes there are two... one very plain with just the meter and the more detailed, that seems to be doing what ever it wants.. ha ha

Yep - same thing happened to me last week. A few other forums about this same issue. No clear answer. Seems to be a mystery. Mine disappeared and has not come back "yet". Most will tell you to scroll left and right. They don't realize CURRENT MILEAGE (in green) has completely disappeared.

Mine didn't have the small green dots showing which left-right page I was currently on when I first got it, so when it did change, I had no idea that was a thing. It still doesn't change positions when i switch between the two, but it is there now.

I showed it to the dealer and they were baffled also. I guess it's one of those things that will never get fixed. ?‍♂

Aha! We've been discussing the disappearing "Current" part and "Range" shifts over - in another thread.
You can't fix it - it will fix itself eventually.
This is what they call "my instant mpg disappeared" etc. in 2 or 3 other threads.

Just hit left or right while that display is up and it'll go back. I did the same thing. More of your displays have other options if you scroll one way or the other too

You just got lucky.... yes there are two fuel economy screens, one is detailed and one just has the meter. I found several other threads on this, its a common glitch that's seems not too common until it happens to you.

Please read my posts in the other thread. This is NOT a case of needing to scroll, the screen is actually dropping a part of the display. It changes without the driver hitting any button.
