Greetings to all!
Haven't posted much at all since purchasing my '22 Sport. Have 25,500 miles so far and everything good until yesterday.
I'm in the middle of a business trip from Indiana to Virginia and back. Yesterday on I-95 approaching the Wash. DC beltway, and in a lot of stop and go, slow moving traffic, it felt like the trans was feeling a bit ill. Specifically, when the road occasionally opened up a bit so I could speed up, and I reached 60 mph, the trans would stutter and clearly kinda "miss" a beat somewhat regularly while in 8th gear. So, switching to the manual side, I could go to 7th and everything was smooth.
Additionally, at slower speeds, it failed to quickly downshift while slowing down (while once again back on the auto stick. At 15-20 mph or so, I could check and see the trans was still in 5th for example.
Made a stop for fuel, and back on the road, it was better. No lights indicating a problem during this. The last leg into a stopover here in Maryland was smoother, and I was able (when traffic allowed) to make 70+mph w/o the stutter.
My wife and I are headed back to Indiana tomorrow. The plan is to drive on and make it home, and then see a local dealership.
You guys (and gals) are a treasure of knowledge and experience. Ideas? Thanks a ton...
