HELP! Stuck in parking lot - Fixed

To be honest, I came here looking for some kind of mall crawler thread. I was kind of hoping for some story about getting stuck on top of a snow embankment, along with a borage of comments about a front locker. Maybe some pics too, but nope, just another keyfob. ;-(

While not I timely story and no pics to back it up, when I was 18 my buddies and I were jumping those snow mounds in a mall parking lot in Idaho Falls, ID one night in my 81 CJ7. Got stuck on the top of one and just as we were yanking it off with another rig, the Po-Po showed up (they had been called by the night security). Wound up with a Vehicular Trespassing charge but not for being on top of the snow mound, rather for when you come down off the backside of the mound you drive across 2 feet of grass (the median island) and you are NOT allowed to drive on that. Total BS but it was a fun night!!!

No nothing.

Pressing the fob against the start button is a feature to enable you to start your Jeep even if your fob battery is dead. It sounds like it is acting exactly like it should. Just replace the fob battery.

Or give the dead fob to the dealership when you have work being performed.

My luck ran out. Dead battery. Over the last week I noticed when I locked the vehicle with the remote the horn chirp sounded a tad weak… for some reason, I didn’t link it with the dead battery.

I pulled out the old charging brick that showed to be full with four lights, went in and tried to start it and got about a quarter of a turn, went and looked at the charging brick and it was down to two lights. I’m not sure if it was a faulty, four light reading and it actually needed to be charged or after one attempt to start it sucked that much juice out of the brick or if the Viking charging brick from Harbor freight just sucks.
