So Rough Country has no more of the coil spring relocation brackets, and with the hose so short, I really don’t know where else I can relocate it to. Looks like I’m running low on options. I might need to do something I’ve never done before - take this thing into a shop for professional advice. Yes, new wider wheels (or spacers) would solve this problem, but I reeeeeally am not sure I’m going to like the look.

It appears you can loosen the clamp holding the reservoir to the shock body and "clock" the reservoir to a different position.

Mine fit just fine. With 37s. Wheel backspacing likely your issue as others have stated. Love my shocks.

Oh I’m sure I can fix it with wider stance. Just not sure if like the look. What wheels and tires do you have? Can you share pics? Preferably from the side and then from a medium distance looking down one side or the other to gauge tire poke.

Oddly enough, you’ve got both the coil spring bracket and shock body clamps. Those coil spring brackets are what I wish I had. Any reason you’re doing one way and not the other?

The first versions kept leaking, and they replaced it under warranty. The new design is clamped to the side now.

Was the leaking the result of the horizontal position or just coincidence?

Heh. Ironic. I just did a search for what to do here as I now have the exact same problem as the OP since I went back to stock sized wheels. On my driver's side I mounted the reservoir to the frame where the disconnect bracket is. On the passenger side I lowered the reservoir as low as it'll go, but it's now in contact with the brake lines. Oof.
