I have thier rear sway bar reinforcment bracket. It catches a lot of rocks and plenty of PA and NJ salt all last winter. Still look new with no sign of corrosion.
Appreciate the testimony! Now to find a Canadian dealer so I can avoid that pesky duty haha.

@Metalcloak How does your zinc plating hold up to the east coast? .... I've heard lots of good things about Metal Cloak, and I love that y'all sell pretty much everything I need. Just interested in seeing how that coating holds up long term.
Thank you... the Gold Chromate is a protective finish over the zinc that is infused into the surface of the steel arms. It will fade over time and is susceptible to change from harsh chemicals like certain cleaners. Even if the Gold fades or discolors the zinc remains active. To prevent the fading a simple spray on clear coat will do the job. - Matson

Their coating is bonded to the metal not actually coated. You'd have to really take a chunk out of it to expose bare metal. If your not a fan of gold you can just take a harsh degreaser and a scotch bright pad to make it a dull matte grey in appearance. The zinc would still be there and work as an anti corrosion. If you want to preserve the gold luster, just spray it with whatever sios2 or graphen wax you treat the body panels with evrey wash and that'll keep em even longer.

I kind of like the gold honestly, looks good with the sting grey and black. Appreciate the info!

Hey @Metalcloak

Could you shine some light on when your normal sales are? I'm planning on replacing my entire suspension/steering later in the summer, likely in September/October. If I'm going to drop $12,000 + CAD, I wouldn't mind doing it when there's a sale to make my wallet hurt less haha.

Just wondering if you have any sales around that time of year so I can make sure to be ready for one.

Thank you for reaching out... sales are hit or miss... we have been known to do them during regular holidays and events, and sometimes a flash sale will pop up... but we have also skipped major events like we did by not having any sales in March. Most times we are not told that a sale is approved until the last minute, so the best bet is to keep watching your favorite social channel, our website, or sign up for notifications so you don't miss one.

You can also try calling the sales team when you are ready and seeing what savings they can pass on to you. They are always happy to talk about your build and help you plan what you need.
