Help understanding Offset and Backspacing

I got my mind set on the Fuel Enduro D608 wheels. They are 17x9 with 4.5 backspacing and -12mm offset. I'm trying to understand how they will sit on my JT. I have Max Town with the wide track axles and am running 37 12.5 17 tires on the stock wheels currently. I'm looking to go back to some poke beyond the fenders since I removed the wheel spacers back in February. Any help would be appreciated!

This may help, mine is a max tow. 17x9 wheels with same offset, 315/70R17s....I can take some more pics if you want from a different angle.

My +6 offset with 315/70r17s looks almost identical to your -12 offset. Most likely conclusion? Quadratec lied about the offset of their classic 5 spoke wheels. Wouldn't surprise me, they also lied about the weight of em. Listed at 30lbs shipped. Package label weight declared 40.8lbs when it arrived and the wheels were 37.4lbs out of the box.

Pointed this out to their support chat almost 2 months ago at this point. They still haven't fixed shit.

Then again, they lie daily about "order before this time and it ships today" BS
