Agreed fastest and cheapest - but me being me, I'd show Benny that picture in the what can we do for you thread and end up buying one anyway LOL.

But any decent equivalent bolt will work fine. These days even flange bolts are getting easier to find.

Them, yes, a great source, recently even the local Fleet Farm, and the huge hardware store by Valley Junction have expanded selections. I was able to built throttle linkage for my car from a single stop in a hardware store.

Odd, you can't find anything else here. Des Moines area is weird that way. (but you can find some excellent beers from the small breweries on Court Avenue)

Unfortunately star parts lists them as reference only. IMO it means just generic M6x1.00x25.00 bolts hardware store would be my best bet sir.

I don't think that the "Item 1" in your picture which is a M6 bolt that holds the horn in place is the bolt we're discussing in this thread.

Here are the stock bolt, a flange head bolt M10x1.5x30 mm and a ruler. Second photo is the 30 mm long flange head bolt installed with the washer between the Arcus winch plate ear and the frame. There is a hole in the frame which allows a longer than necessary bolt to be used.
