3.5 Clayton will net 4.5 right out of the gate.
This is why I’ll probably go with Clayton 2.5”. I figure with winch and bumper it’ll settle down to about 3.25”. I’m stopping at 38” and could probably fit them now with just the 2” Mopar and the high fenders but want to allow myself some space for the flexy stuff.

I'm sitting on a 2.5 Clayton Overland lift with diesel HD springs. Only a Sport S on Rubi take off tires.

Sport S here too. With Nemesis fenders/Artec inners it gives me some room to work with. I think the HD springs may be a bit too much oomf. I like it stiff but not that stiff. (Insert joke here)

I only got 4" from the 3.5" Clayton rear springs.

As long as I can get 3” with the 2.5” I’ll be happy as a pig in a trough. 3” is as high as I want to be with all the offcamber stuff out my way. I don’t have the fanciest seat covers but I’d like them to stay out of certain bodily cavities.

There's nothing wrong with fine tuning height with a little coil spacer action either.

My 2.5"-3" AEV dual sport lift kit actually measured 5.5" at the trailer hitch mount. I am waiting (1 year so far) for the spring to settle or sag to close to the rated 3"s as told by the manufacturer. Still 5"s at the trailer hitch assembly.

EVO 4.5
Rockrawler 4.5
Metalklok 4.5
Anyone know which sits the highest ?
I’m running 4 inch Redilift with 43’s. Had to do some trimming and -58 wheels. Not much room for articulation though. Getting the Evo double throwdown front and 6.5 coilover rear next week with long arms and electric step rails. It is running fine with the 4 inch but Id like to get out to Moab next summer.

At 4.5" the ladies will just walk past and laugh no matter who has it. 🤪

Seriously though, there can be a difference, but you need to look at quality over quantity. What are you getting, does it just lift, or does it also address geometry. Over time will the system sag, or stay the same?

Well it hasn’t sagged. Ride is ok but I imagine the 6.5 Evo coilover is gonna ride better. Ill find out in a couple of weeks. Also the long arms should help too.
