Looks good but with some of the issues with plug and light fitments I may be second guessing switching mine at all. I would love to see the DV8 one installed or get someone's opinion on it before I decide on what to do. I was looking hard at the Ironcross as well. I'm not going to jump the gun, I'm going to try to make a calculated decision instead of just settling.
Yeah, when I saw the license plate lights weren't plug and play, I wished I had bought the Fishbone Mako instead since I saw the video for it and it showed that it used the same lights on the stock bumper. Of course what I didn't mention was when I took off the stock bumper I couldn't unplug the damn plug for the license plate lights and had to cut it. You may want to crawl under yours and make sure you can unplug everything first haha.

@Digger70

Did you guys look at the Rock Hard Patriot Series Rear Bumper?

I feel like any rear bumper I get has to have the step corner cut-outs. Not sure about the size of the ones on the Patriot I linked to. Would love to see a measurement of the width of that. Or a picture of a size 11 workboot using it.

Almost pulled the trigger on some Rock Hard Sliders and was thinking of getting the bumper as well. Although I wish they flowed some design features from the slider to the side of the bumper so there was some consistency there with the side view.

Yeah I looked at it but didn't want to pay that much ($999.95). The Iron Cross was $575 with 10% off. I could have got the Rock Hard and got 10% off but also would have needed to get another tow hook since I have a Sport. And then would have to paint them red...

Thanks for the heads up on the lights, I'll definitely look at them and see.

After looking back at the Fishbone Mako on 4WD I may end up with that bumper. Total for the front a rear would put me at 972 which is less than the $1000 I was wanting to spend. Decisions, Decisions.

It's a nice bumper. The only reasons why I didn't get it were because I wanted to have corner steps and I want to add lights.

Thanks. Great point on that price.

I found some factory bolts laying around today so I took the bumper off and removed the 4 bolts originally for the D-ring mounts that I used to attach the brackets and replaced them with the factory bolts and now the bumper is complete. So I still need to get the license plate lights wired up.

Not to high jack a thread about the Ironcross bumper but I keep seeing this bumper come up when I search gladiator steel rear bumpers. I can't confirm if it will or want fit a gladiator but it looks like it has steps on the sides. I really would like to have the steps, being a short guy that would be awesome.

Oh my god, you hijacker you! Yeah that's a cool bumper but when I put in my Gladiator info on the right where it shows 'What do you drive?' it takes me to this bumper instead https://www.autoanything.com/bumpers/73A3830A0A0.aspx

Yeah it did the same thing for me. That's a totally different bumper. I may contact body armor and see what I can find out on it. I wasn't really thinking about needing a side step but then I got to looking at some of the Chevy trucks with the side steps on the bumper and it's got me thinking now. Probably a feature I may be kicking myself for not having.

That bumper is for the Wrangler and you can get it with the tire carrier. But yeah that other one was cool looking and only $472 which is a nice price.
