We just pulled the trigger on a Mojave by doing some New Years Day negotiating. Well to be more accurate it was 2 weeks of phone and text negotiating but we showed up at the dealership with a check in hand and mind set that no extras would be added once we made the 5 hour drive to the dealership. Well that turned into 15 hour round trip because of a ice storm/torrential down pour/pea soup thick fog ride on the way home. On a side note it made for a great test for our purchase on our way back...lol
One thing I found out Immediately is I need to add some really good fog lights as my first aftermarket purchase. Overall I felt like we did good considering all the options that were on the Mojave. Ive been pricing them for over 6 months and this was by far the best deal I found in that time frame. They added a $500 rebate to the already discounted price which got us down to $49600 before TTT. I’ll admit I cringe thinking about a new Jeep costing more then our first house but when I look at her sitting in the driveway that all goes away ?✌

That's a terrific job of negotiating! Well done. Were you working with just one dealership?

I didn't target those directly as they had their shields up and ready to defend. In the end I don't care what numbers they put in what slots as long as I liked the final price. I also avoided all the finance guy tricks entirely by having my own credit union lined up already.

I started with the invoice price. Calculated the percent below I wanted added in what was a fair value in my mind for any fees and upgrades. Then added tax title tag for a final and negotiated from there.
I think I added 300 for dealer fee, 600 for the tint/gps thing, and 5500 for the rims tires instead of the 8500 they quoted. I'm sure I could have done better if I played harder or went with one of the 8% below dealers. But I was happy to keep the money local and love the fact she is already sitting in my driveway.

Ask for Jordan Beaty. Tell him Jordan sent you. He was a really nice guy and easy to deal with.
I too just bought there.. they advertised mine at 7k off msrp and I got around 9K off at the end.. IF they made an xtra grand off me, Im OK with that, loving the jeep experience!

Was working with a local dealer on a sport S that was in transit, but ended up not getting to the lot in time for me. I was going to have them add a lift and tires for me, but then I saw this beauty and decided to negotiate. She was basically the real Rubicon I was trying to mimic with a sport S build.
You can see they started high with a bit of inflation on the dealer added junk as well as the lift/tires/accessories.
Ended up at 53.5 purchase including dealer fee being off set by a trade in of my old beat up but reliable dakota.
56.8 out the door tax title tag tank of gas etc.
I think I did pretty good and the guys I dealt with at Jerry Ulm were very nice. Had a lot of fun.

My question exactly. In NorCal I was just lucky to have the affiliate discount.
