Just noticed this today. How do I pop the pin back in? I tried but it didn’t budge.

I noticed that too, not sure. I bought my jeep used and didn’t notice it when I picked it up.What is going on with the marking around it?
I wold get a new one from the dealer and just replace it.

Once it spreads the rivet, it is useless.
The two retainer clips(I have no idea if thats what they are called) in the photo do not match each other. The factory one below the one with a stiffy has a much lower profile and does not have a push type head on it.I noticed that too, not sure. I would guess the other side fender is also not the same and has all stock clips. For some reason the last owner replaced that clip with one that is not correct.

Just went out and looked at the wife ladies JL sport. All the clips look the same. They are all like the one you have with a stiffy. There are none like the flat solid one you have below. I would think that something is misaligned between the trim and the inner fender stoping stiffy from going back in.I see that now.
