Seems like lots of spray on the rear fenders. I have 33s on a Max Tow. Jeep mudflaps seem small. Just curious if larger ones would fix this issue. Weathertec or RokBlokz? Size?

Some, not all of that is from your tires. This time of year everyone contributes to the crap thrown up on vehicles.

Factory running boards do a fantastic job of protecting the side of the JT from spray from the front wheels

I agree ! Best protection you can get. That’s why I’m glad my truck came with them, and will not be removed for any other style ?

IMO you need longer mudflaps if you want to protect the side and the rear fenders.

Well chalk this up to being a jeep thing. Looks like you got wider tires and if so, running boards want even save you from that. That's one of the give and takes to putting on larger wider tires. There are no mud flaps that's going to keep it from happening either. IMO, running boards and mud flaps aren't made for a jeep.

This is one of the reasons I keep and love the stock plastic black fenders, the painted ones look horrible in very little time. Sorry if I couldn't be a brighter light but I researched the crap out of it on other Jeep's and came up empty handed.

The stuff being thrown from the front tires onto the side of the Jeep come from the bottom of the tires, longer mud flats will stop it. Tire width does not matter.

I don't have any mudflaps though I think I'll go with Rokblockz at some point. People seem to like them, but nothing's gonna keep all the grime off your truck I don't think.

If it's any concelation, my truck is much dirtier after a few days out in the mess. Luckily gator hided the dirt pretty well, but the black trim doesn't! To me, yours looks pretty good.

Any idea if the weathertechs are long/large enough or should a guy just pony up for the Rok Blokz.

Sorry I do not know if either of those would block it, if you take a string and put it under the front tire then pull it back to say the bottom of the front of the rear fender then measure the distance from the bottom of your existing front flaps to the string that will tell you how much longer the flap would need to be from your current flaps, if that makes sense. I would image they will need to be pretty long, maybe longer than looks good.
