I have a JTW with a black plastic bumper. The original Minnesota dealer installed the mount for the front license plate. I live in Indiana and don’t have a front plate. Short of body shop work how do I hide license plate holes drilled into plastic bumper?

Maybe black plastic plugs that push in and cover the holes? You can buy those at any auto parts place or Amazon

Check market place people are almost giving away front bumpers. I’ve seen them anywhere from free to $25 up.
That would also work - as long as it was from one of the states that doesn't use front plates, otherwise it will have the holes for the front plate holder.

Yeah those are generally given away when someone removes them
That's why mine is wrapped up on a high shelf in my garage.
Well, one reason. I won't get anything out of it, it's not worth shipping (costly) and if something happens to my steel bumper at least I have a temporary spare. OR, if I trade it in ever, I can swap back.

Christmas tree clips or find someone who upgraded and replace yours

I used jb weld in my jku when I removed the front plate, similar, can see it if you look. I’d say is “okay”.

went to look for pictures and think push pins as suggested above would be better

I kayak a lot and have repaired holes in the kayaks by using matching plastic piece , melt it with soldering iron and put into heated hole area. Trim a tiny piece off bottom some where. Most high end kayaks come with a piece of matching pjastic from a hatch cover cutout or something , I patched a yellow ocean kayak this way to cover removed rivet hole. You have nothing to lose.

Sugru. It is a moldable epoxy.
https://sugru.com/what-is-sugru

you can get black and white (or colors) and mix them together for a color match if needed.

It's available on Amazon, Walmart.com etc...

I fixed a deteriorating leather steering wheel with this stuff, when applied properly to a clean surface it works well.

I used Christmas tree fasteners on my wife's Beetle. The white didn't quite match and I had to use silicone to keep them flush, but it passes the 3 foot test.

Replace it with a new steel bumper and winch.
