How to kill Remote Start Honking

I live in a relatively densely populated area and I HATE the honking every time I remote start my truck. I have a Tazer Mini installed and killed the tripple-honk for the doors when running but it does not fix the remote start. Some on here stated it would, perhaps that changed with firmware updates? I am using the latest firmware as of a week ago.

Does anyone have a solution (other than disconnecting the stupid horn)?

You can turn it off in the settings menu of the infotainment system. Forget which specific setting but it's in there. I turned mine off that way.

Yup, you don't need a taser to do this.

What they both said. I had the same issue once I moved out of an apartment, and wanted to warm it up in the winter. I believe it is either under "convenience" or "doors and locks" within your uconnect settings.
