I wonder how long it will be to get quotes back from dealers after pricing is announced? I made 3 calls to local dealerships today and they all told me they have no information other than inflated market pricing! Lol

Who are you talking to? I’ve been in contact with Baxter on W. Dodge, but they haven’t really gotten info either.

Pollard Jeep in Boulder, CO told me they 'should' be taking orders next week and they plan to see Gladiators at MSRP for the time being.

1. I thought ordering wasn't until later in April.
2. 1 percent under invoice matching the affiliate pricing or tread lightly should be everyone's minimum goal.

As much as I hope I'm wrong, I am getting more and more uneasy about getting a discount of 7% on my Gladiator. There are 2 or 3 dealerships here that have stated that there will be immediate discounts available on special orders. Every other dealer I have called to ask about price has told me that there will be no Gladiators sold under msrp. Guess I just have to have faith in our forum sponsor dealerships!

This is a no brainer. If they are saying MSRP the you MUST get TreadLightly because that guarantees you 1% below invoice which assuming invoice is 6% give or take below MSRP the $100 is well worth it!!

If they are telling you they will not sell the Gladiator under MSRP, move on to the next dealer. Absolutely no reason an educated buyer is paying MSRP on any vehicle.

I wouldn't worry about it at all. You can take a look at the JL Wrangler forums and see many members getting 5% below invoice or better. The 7% discount you saw on here you have to sign up for tread lightly AND use the dealer financing to get the 7%. You may be able to refinance after certain period of time just depends on the dealer.

I don't think any dealer would be brave enough to falsely advertise on these forums. I bet some of our members here are really scary people

Has it been verified that Tread Lightly discount will work with the Gladiator? I see no reason that it should not but has it been verified?
It is not offered as part of the affiliate program at this point but there is bo precedence that it shouldn’t be. 2019 MY vehicles are:

Eligible: All Chrysler, Jeep®, Dodge (including SRT), Ram, FIAT, Alfa Romeo vehicles (+ Alfa Romeo Quadrifoglio models - eligible as of 9-5-2018)

Ineligible: 500e, Pacifica Hybrid, Challenger Demon, Grand Cherokee Trackhawk

If you are happy with paying 1% under invoice. There is no reason to ask any dealers for quotes. You can walk in any dealer at anytime they are open, talk to any salesman and tell them you will be the easiest sale they have. Hand them a printed options list from the net. "This is what I want." Then hand them the control number paperwork (treadlightly is one of many ways to get one) "here is my pricing, Please go order it." They get a kickback off the sale and customer orders don't count against thier allotment. So they still get a truck to mark up and sell. Everyone wins .

Once prices are released we will see the high volume dealers offers. I still don't think dealers know what incentives will be.

I for one am glad they are waiting until they are 100% on there deal.

I have reached out to 13 Colorado dealers and one in Cheyenne ... Pollard is towards the bottom of my preference list at this point. I was very clear in my email to dealers, Pollard replied with MSRP and $2,000 deposit. They indicated they can do deeper discounts on JLs (implying they would not discount JTs). I let them know $2,000 was by far the highest deposit I have seen. I have some responses of zero deposit and others were $250. Nearly every dealer I spoke to indicated they would honor FCA affiliate pricing 1% under invoice (I did not specifically identify Tread Lightly).

Flower Motor in Montrose (yes, I contacted nearly everyone) indicated they sell JTs at invoice (that was without discussing FCA affiliates). They indicated no deposit and $399 dealer handling. I plan on following up with every dealer Saturday morning (assuming price released at 10pm Friday here) and going to let the games begin.

Let me know what you find out, I sold cars in Fort Collins (12 years ago for 6 months), but I still know at least 2 people in the industry. Been waiting on price reveals from FCA before I really push hard for pricing specifics but I’ll update you on what I find out up here as well.
