legitimate question: if I go an LS swap, and let’s say the company who did the swap goes out of business, how can one make sure that the LS continues to play nice with the rest of the gladiator?
Once the swap it complete, any legitimate LS/LT shop would know how to service it.

For me here in Maryland, LMP (Late Model Performance) is my LS go to. Alec the owner is amazing. They have a YT channel with some great content

Ferrari has entered the chat.

Ducati with its engine-out every 1500 mile valve service has entered the chat...

...Mamma mia!

TBF, that's most of them nowadays I can't believe people will pay $200/hour to plug a Civic into a computer and tell you what's "wrong."

Could be worse, across the street at the Mercedes store it's $350 to do the same. And if you want your wipers changed and washer fluid topped off, that's another $175.
I love how you diced up my post LOL.

Yeah my local dealership service department recommended a new cabin air filter for the cool price of $83......I shit you not.

Buy 7 of them for that price on Rock Auto and 2 minutes to swap out...........its recockulous

You're welcome! LOL

I get labor is where the dealers make their money but charging half an hour to do a 2 minute cabin filter is nuts.

BMW dealer once tried to bang me for a $300 brake flush when I got the Takata claymore recall done amongst other made up issues. Thing is, just did it myself the week prior. They said it was dirty. I told them it's because I used BLUE fluid and theirs is clear. Bumblefucks galore.
