What is y’all’s opinion on why Jeep wouldn’t put the hurricane in the Gladiator? I understand not doing the V8 but why skip replacing the current 6 cylinder with the new 6 cylinder engine? Seems like a no brainer unless I’m missing something.
I forgot who, but someone from Stelantis was saying after all the time and money spent on the pentastar, they can't just dump it. They're gonna keep it around longer and use it as a base for a hybrid setup.

I have a 2023. Does that mean I should have put 6 quarts of oil instead of 5???

Pentastar program started way back when Daimler controlled Chrysler. Original base architecture was design with expansion into Direct Injection and Turbo applications that so far have not been seen. As a platform, the Pentastar still have life left in it and would expect Stelantis to milk every nickle out of it.

I was wondering about the press announcement recently where the schedule said in 25 the Gladiator was scheduled for a 4xe upgrade. After all the comments Stellantis made about overheating issues using the current 4 banger 4xe in the Gladiator had me wondering if they might 4xe the 3.6 for the Gladiator. Hmmm..
