So for some dumb reason I didn't add AUX switches. My Gladiator Rubicon is being built now and dealer said its too late to add. If I go and buy Mopar or AFTER MARKET switches can I still program them into the Uconnect system?
From my research it looked like there's a wiring bundle already under the glove box regardless of having switches or not. ( Am I wrong?)

The switches are available separately for about $350, but the Jeep has to be programmed. You can do that with JScan. There are also a few decent aftermarket options becoming available too which utilize the same spot in the dash, for less than what the Mopar switches cost.

Thanks for the reply.

Yeah I saw that. That's why i feel silly I didn't already add them in my build spec.
I read that it will need a reflash from the scan or dealer, but Im wondering if the Mopar AUX switches are the only ones that will work with Uconnect?

None of the aftermarket ones integrate to the UConnect like the OEM ones do. You could probably work out a deal with your dealership since you just bought a brand new vehicle from them, I'd imagine they'd give you a deal on the install and flash. Plus if they do all the work it'll be warrantied with the vehicle.

The wiring bundle is not there unless the switches are installed. Having them factory installed provides two extra hot wires under the dash, one switched with ignition and one always hot.

Thats a good idea. Too late for the factory but maybe can work a deal with the dealer prior to pick up. Ill try that route.

I had my dealer installed, I missed that option, no complaints other than the cost

Did you work out a deal?
What was the price you paid for hardware and labor ?
No deal other than immediate install lol, it came to around 600 dollars I think, been a while
