There are some rumors that the Launch Editions are being sold only at MSRP. Are there any confirmations that dealers are accepting affiliate pricing at a minimum?
I’m getting affiliate pricing on mine. I know some dealers are all over the place. Many are trying to take advantage of consumers.
I can’t remember the exact amount but it’s not basically the same amount. It’s several thousand more than if you build a regular Rubicon. What different tires are they doing? Are they 35s?
If you look at the options included, it's basically the same price as a custom build with the same options. This shows a similar JTR build. I showed a $645 difference for the JTR build, which would account for wheels, leather dash, and a "special" badge. Build sheets today show basically the same info, but many of those packages are buried in the 24Z LE package.
I just accepted the msrp and he immediately put the order in. I tried taking to him about tread lightly and he said that he will be selling these at no less than msrp.
In addition, the upgraded wheels look to be a blacked out version of the original optional wheels that would normally be another $995 add on. So I think the LE is a great deal for someone looking to max out options.
