Back on topic: if you block the EGR be sure to remove the butterfly from the throttle as well (it's two torx screws) or it'll choke itself out at random expecting to draw intake pressure through the EGR.
I'm honestly curious how this goes. What I'm currently running still uses the EGR/throttle (if I hook them back up) just has the MIL flags disabled so I can't test it myself.
