This weather warnings are a joke to me - living in San Diego I get a wind advisory about every day with very little wind. Cut to driving home down the 395 through 55mph 0 visibility dust storm and not a single warning the WHOLE TIME. My girlfriend I could not believe it.

My typical has been to plug in my phone and go, using Android Auto for just about everything.

I'll admit that I was a bit surprised and impressed when I went for a short ride today without the phone, and was alerted to some weather conditions.

Is this something that's going to go away after some point and I'll have to pay to keep it?

I noticed your warning said Appomattox, Campbell. You in the Appomattox VA area? If so that’s cool I live right near red house ain’t too far from ya. Should go on a ride one day or something maybe hit washout gap.

Sirius TraveLink is the name of the "feature"... you get 5 years of it with the JT. The music part of SiriusXM is like 6 months.

This is on the 8.4 radio, no idea about the others...

Question is, how the heck do you turn this off. Its annoying af in the desert. We get wind reports every day almost. like some do on the coast.

Why such a little screen?

I make up for it in other ways....
But at the time I didn't want or need a radio with built in cell service or wifi and the larger radios all seem to have that. I only needed Sirius/XM radio and the basic off road pages with roll and pitch angles and mine has that.
