Over the last several months a friend who does high-level restorations asked me to restore a starter, alternator, heater blower motor and to replate (zinc plating) the bracket for the brake pressure differential switch for an AMC Rebel Machine. I actually ended up fully restoring the brake pressure differential switch as to remove the bracket I had to get creative with my mill, then re-attach the bracket.
The brake switch can be seen on the firewall below the black blower motor.
The alternator is just visible now and then at the bottom of the screen, especially after he shows how easily it restarts after getting good and hot. (alternator is a Motorola with the red isolation diode on the back, very bottom of screen near the end at about the 1:29 mark or so)
The starter - well, you don't get to see it on the car- but can hear it.
A similar one I did is pictured below. It's like brand new inside as well.

Anyway, Rich sent me the video link as he was pretty excited about this car - and how it started hot with a crazy 12.9:1 compression ratio.
