Steering started a light click a week or two back, then it settled into a creaky creak... I had searched and come across several different root causes, most of which involved "re-torque everything". As the start to that process, me and a buddy took turns sawing at the wheel and feeling everything... he noticed the steering box was moving... Not "sloppy, do the TSB" stuff, actually wiggling on the dang frame.

These two bolts were finger loose...... I'm at 77K miles, and I'm pretty sure it wouldn't have been removed to install the lift.... I wonder if they were ever torqued? The front two were still torqued down tight....

Either way, Ya'll go re-torque everything now!

Yes, there is a history of those 4 bolts not being tight.

Hell if I know. but "factory spec" obviously wasn't enough, so I gave em each 2 farts and a squeak.
