Anyone else having an issue with one or both back up lights flashing / staying on after unlocking the jeep since this last tazer mini update? It’s mostly the left side 9 out of 10 times but it will stay on regardless if I’m driving or not. The only way to get them to turn off is to lock the truck with the fob. It’s inconsistent but it’s happened dozens of times people are flagging me down telling me I have a light out because ones lit and one isn’t.
Next time it happens I’ll get a pic.

It happens intermittently with mine when I unlock, I always assumed they turned off when I started it. Now I need to start checking before driving I guess.

How many times are you hitting the ”unlock” button on the fob? A feature of the Tazer is that it will turn on the bed lights and keep them on with 3 consecutive presses of the unlock button on the fob. It will turn on and keep on the bed lights and reverse lights with 5 consecutive presses of the unlock button. The lights turn off when pressing the lock button on the fob.

Once? And if that was the case why is only one or the other working most times. It’s happening with the usual unlock procedure. It started with the last update. I didn’t know there was a brand new one out. Either way it’s frustrating

If you are only hitting it once then it is a problem. I would report the bug to Z automotive.

So this is interesting. I have a Tazer but really don't use any of the features yet. At some point I will need to update tire size and maybe differential gears down the road. The only features I really like are related to lights. I like to be able to keep the bed lights on indefinitely from the fob, for example. I noticed that if I press unlock on the fob 5 times consecutively to keep the bed and reverse lights on that only the left reverse light will come on if I press the button 5 times too quickly. If I slow down the presses and leave half a second between them both lights come on. I don't really use light shows other than to just try them but the front left turn signal does it's own thing and doesn't follow the pattern. Not sure if it's related.

I noticed once that my reverse lights were on when I didn't intend them to be. I think I got in the habit of subconsciously just hitting unlock repeatedly while walking to my truck. It was enough to activate the bed/reverse lights from the tazer. I wasn't even thinking about it. Maybe this is what's happening to you? I am now very conscious to only press unlock once and my reverse lights haven't been on unintentionally since.

This is happening when I unlock the truck one time. I have never pushed the unlock button multiple times in a row. Hopefully a fix will come out in the next update.
